Message clarifying the boundaries for Option #1 and Option #2

We would like to clarify the message and/or letter that was sent yesterday pertaining to the elementary school boundaries for the 18/19 school year.

With Option 1, all students currently enrolled in a voluntary or forced transfer status will remain in that school.
With Option 2, all students currently enrolled in a voluntary or forced (not including special programs) transfer status will be enrolled in their home school.

Both options are still accepting transfers.

District looks to improve emergency notification communications

The district, has the capability, through Infinite Campus, to send text messages to parents, containing important information. Currently we may send a mass email, but have found that many people may not regularly monitor personal email accounts. We believe that the text message notification will allow important information to get to parents in a timely manner. Continue reading…
